Practical Information

IMPORTANT: The booked game start time must be adhered to. 

Collecting the backpack, tickets, and paying the deposit:

Pick up the backpack and tickets at the ticket office of Gemeindealpe at the valley station.

A €50 cash deposit must be paid at the ticket office when collecting the backpack. The deposit will be refunded upon the complete return of the backpack and its contents.

Please bring:

A smartphone with a fully charged battery and an internet connection

Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes suitable for hiking

Food and drinks (there is no drinking water fountain until the end of the game)

Important: One person in your group must carry the game backpack.

How it works:

Start at the Gemeindealpe Mitterbach valley station (ticket office), where you will receive the game instructions and the backpack containing the game equipment.

Solve puzzles as you hike toward the middle station. The game will guide you along the route step by step, with plenty of puzzle stops along the way.

The route is not suitable for strollers/prams.

Return from the middle station to the valley station by mountain cart or cable car (or hike back).

Return the game equipment at the valley station.

Present your return receipt and receive your €50 deposit back.
